About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineering Consultant, you’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge data solutions while shaping the future of our company. You’ll collaborate with innovative clients—especially in Fintech, Energy and fast-paced product sectors—designing scalable data architectures and delivering robust pipelines that unlock business value.

In this role, you will:

• Architect and implement modern data platforms (batch and streaming) tailored to client needs.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights by building efficient data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.
• Automate and optimize pipelines using modern tools like Airflow, Matillion, Data Factory, or dbt.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and reliability across the entire lifecycle.
• Contribute to internal development, knowledge sharing, and the technical evolution of Data Edge.

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical skill with business understanding and a collaborative mindset.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python in data-intensive environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines using modern orchestration tools.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong background in data modeling and data warehouse design.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Legal right to work in Sweden and residence in the Stockholm area.

It’s a Plus If You Also Have Experience With:

• Hands-on experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Spark Streaming).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with Data Build Tool (dbt).
• Knowledge of cloud-native data architectures and data governance.
